꽃의 시간

“꽃으로 표현된 자연은 우리에게 보다 온화하고 은은하게 상처를 치유할 수 있는 힘을 만들어낸다. 꽃이 갖는 미적 조형도 아름답지만 더없이 아름다운 것은 꽃을 통해 바라보게 되는 내 안의 선한 나와 만나는 일이다.”

꽃의 시간은 대상으로서 타자화된 꽃이 아니라 자연과의 일체를 원하는 심상을 담는다. 자연은 모든 감각을 열어 주는 제한 없는 곳이다. 이 자연 안에서 꽃은 고귀한 생명력과 존재의 가치를 피어낸다. 유유히 흐르는 세필, 때로는 도발적이고 강렬한 붓질, 표현주의적 회화기법, 추상성이 강한 화면구성, 아름다운 색채를 통해 자연과의 합일을 꿈꾸는 명상적 시공간을 제시하고자 한다.

The Time of Flowers

“Nature expressed by flower brings out softer and warmer strength in us. I believe not only the structure of flower is beautiful. What makes it deeply beautiful is the awareness of my good self by staring at it”.

“The Time of Flowers” visualizes the desires which longing for the unification with nature, rather than capturing objective images with the distance. Nature is the place where opens all limitations up, and flowers establish their noble vitality and existences in it. I would like to demonstrate the meditating space and time by the delicate touch, provocative brush, expressive painting strokes, impressionistical-bold compositions, and splendid colors.
